Changing/Killing off characters

In this pack, we do not allow people to have multiple characters. You can however, change your character if you're no longer pleased with it, kill off your current one, OR put your current one up for adoption. Please review the following requirements for:

- Changing your character:

• You can only change your character 2 times unless you have permission from a council member.
  
• Your character must be a different species than the original. (and still remain realistic!)
  
• If your character has a mate, you cannot switch unless you have specific permission from a council member.

- Killing off your character

• You cannot kill off a character if you have a mate. [unless the "mate" agrees]
  
• If you kill off a character, you must adopt one (unless none are available)
  
• The limit to killing off characters is currently at 3, though you may bring it up with council members if you're about to go past that.

- Putting a character up for adoption

• You cannot put a character up for adoption if you want a specific person to adopt it -- everyone is open to choosing what OC they would like to adopt.
  
• You are giving the person permission to change anything about the character they wish to adopt.
  
• You MUST follow the directions found on this thread.
  
• If the specified character has a mate in role play, please contact the council members and bring it up with us so we can discuss it.
  
• You can only put your present character up for adoption once to make a new one. (note that you can put as many other characters that are not currently being played up for adoption as you want at any time)

In both of the first two instances, you must create the new account under that name and wait for an admin to verify it. After that, you have 5 days to make a biography and make your first post under your new account. Once that is achieved, your old account will be deleted for space/organization. If you do not meet this goal, your new account will be deleted.
